The STEP 7-Micro/WIN programming software optimizes all the advantages of the SIMATIC S7-200 Microsystems product family. Exceptional time-saving and powerful tools include intelligent wizards that guide you to an optimized solution, the intuitive dialogs that simplify communication setups, the new Super Tree that provides a project overview plus immediate access to any area of your program, and the interactive control panels that assist users with online debugging of motion and PID Auto-tuning applications.

Logic programming is significantly simplified with the collection of STEP 7-Micro/WIN wizards that enable simple parameterization instead of programming. These wizards prompt you via menus to simply specify a few parameters - and an executable program is automatically generated!

Download and Installation Instructions:

1. To download each attachment, click on the filename, and click on the ‘Save’ button. You will be prompted for a directory in which to store the file. Repeat this process and copy all files to the same directory.
2. Once the files are in the same directory, click on the Rejoin.bat file. This will perform an operation that results in a single .exe file.
3. To begin the installation program, double click the .exe file. This will extract all the install files to a temporary sub-directory on your PC, and will also start the installation.
4. Follow the prompts displayed by the installation program.
5. After the installation programs completes, the temporary sub-directory containing the installation files can be deleted. It must be manually deleted.

NOTES:

* The STEP 7-Micro/WIN V4.0 Single License cannot be installed on the same PC where a V4.0 Demo Evaluation License is installed. The V4.0 Demo Evaluation License must be un-installed before the Single License can be successfully installed.
* The Evaluation Demo includes support for the following languages: German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Chinese
* When you install a purchased copy of STEP 7-Micro/WIN V4.0 it includes several Tools:TD Keypad Designer for the TD 200C and S7-200 Explorer for the S7-200 Memory Cartridge. This Evaluation Demo license does not include the Tools. You may download those tools separately from the Siemens A&D Service and Support web page.
* This demonstration package has the complete functional scope of the normal product (for 60 days, you can use it up to 100 times).

System Requirements for the Evaluation Version:

* At least 265 Mbytes of free hard disk space
* Microsoft Windows2000 (SP3 or greater) or Windows XP (Home or Professional)
* A personal computer (PC) capable of running one of the above operating systems, refer to Microsoft specifications for more information.
* Monitor Resolution of 1024x768 pixels running small fonts
* Any mouse supported by Microsoft Windows
* One of the following sets of equipment:
o A PC/PPI cable connected to your RS-232 communications port (PC COM1 or COM2)
o A PC/PPI cable connected to your USB communications port
o A communications processor (CP) card and multipoint interface (MPI) cable
o A multipoint interface (MPI) card (a communications cable comes with the MPI card)
o A PC Ethernet connection with the S7-200 CP243-1 or CP243-1 IT module
